Did you know that grown up people quote Winnie the Pooh? And they even have tattoos made with such quotes. So here is a quote from Winnie, since I've always loved him. Or should I say "her"? As we know that the real Winnie, the one that inspired A.A. Milne to write the story, was in fact a "she". "The things that make me different are the things that make me." This was made in Photoshop - used a filter on one of my photos, some brushes, two textures for background, a polaroid frame, some adju
Yes, Fall is here... But no sadness. Because I just love Fall! It is my favorite season. Here is a flower from my garden /don't know what it's called/ and a sunflower in the background. I textured this with one of my own "texture", an old, weathered board.
And here you have the original picture:
See ya! And enjoy Fall! <a href="http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/blogspot/uoIaC/~3/gUrlIZpQf00/fall-is-here.html" rel='external'>Sursa</a>
Weeds can be beautiful! Some have amazing colors and intricate textures. Enjoy this one - I took this photo while on vacation at Frumoasa, Romania. Frumoasa = The Beautiful

Hi there! I just popped in to post a picture, one of my favorites. The original photo is not so spectacular, but I just love the result I obtained in Photoshop. I like the texture and I love the hint of blue on the right.
Come closer, I'm gonna tell ya a secret: I'm not sure I could do this again! I definitely have to name my layers when I work in Photoshop. see ya! Sursa
Have I told you that I'm like a child? I want everything I see! The last interesting thing I saw was OOB, that is out of bounds photos made in Photoshop. And of course I had to give this a try, too. So here it is, my first... well, actually second try on this PS effect: [my first was a real success, too. but it was a kind of family photo, and as you might have noticed, I don't make a habit of posting faces/portraits/people.]
I love this little fellow! Took this picture last year. Some two ye
I've recently discovered eco painting on different cloth and also on paper and I am totally amazed by this process! Well, as you can imagine, I had to try this our. Although - again!!! - my "tools" were scarce. But first let me show you the end result:
I am quite pleased with it. My cloth was the back pocket from a pair of trousers. I guess that it have looked better if I had a white piece of cloth.Second, I didn't have any leaves so I used onion skins, red cabbage and some small fir branche
Well, here is the other me... a little bit deviant... We went for a hike last week and... well... I found a cow! It was not a living one, just the... you know... bones. Here are two pictures of it. I used the vintage frames from The CoffeeShop Blog, go over there and you will find tons of tutorials, free stuff like frames, PS actions, storyboards and lot more.
Ha-ha! Do you know what these are??? The teeth! I like their shape, all those lines and curves and circles. I took home some teeth
Well, this is 2013! I spent the last day of the last year out in the nature. We went for a hike and I just want to share some "postcards", snapshots I took. The lake was frozen and frost was everywhere on the trees, leaves, berries. It was just fairy!
And here is my new cover photo on Facebook:
Have a great 2013! See ya! Sursa
Haven't been posting for some time... don't really know why. Well, I have a guess or two but let's not talk about this now. I'd better share my pencil holder which I made from an empty milk carton and one of my paintings! OMG!!! Did you hear this? - one of my PAINTINGS! The truth is that lately I've been trying my hand at journaling - for me to say ART journal would be way too much. I had a journal page which was a total mess but as I couldn't just throw it out, and because I discovered a most b
The neighbors next to us in Kacs have a black cat and 2 adorable kittens. They play a lot, and sleep a lot, and eat. In the beginning they were afraid, but last time we were there they just came in and enjoyed the company! I fed them, of course, and after a while we became so very close friends that I ended up with both of them taking a nap in my lap. These are the pics from the time I could hardly put a finger on either of them: The playful one! Still sucking: I've seen the dog!
Here are my beauties:They are made from my handmade beads and beautiful oxidized copper. The beads are older, at first I didn't like them too much. But that was because I didn't find a proper match for them. Now I think they look nice in combination with the blue oxidized copper and the small beads. See ya!

Well... this is my first try at fold forming.First take a look at the end product:This is not the most amazing fold forming ever... but, taking into consideration this is my first try, and that I don't have any special tools, and that I started from this as raw material...I don't think this is bad at all!Do you happen to know that the raw material is?Well.... I don't have copper sheets and don't know where to get them from. So I have to use what I have at hand. And that is a piece from the compu
OMG! I've been dying to make this post! Because I am so happy. I've made myself a gorgeous, super cool T-shirt! Just take a look: I just can't wait to put it on! But now it's too hot, so I'm waiting for cooler days...Until then, two more pictures. Here is the front: And this one is the back: See ya!

These are my hammered copper earrings. Needless to say, I like them a lot. Right now they are my favorites. I took some copper wire, hammered it, drilled the holes and then attached the ear wires. This time I didn't forget to fire the wire to give it a patina! They looked so naked and, I don't know how, had the idea to use these two textured beads I had made and painted earlier. A great idea and an excellent match! The beads are not identical, and this is what I like about them the most.Ho
You saw it before, but let me show you now the REAL Igor! The finished Igor. I just love it! It looks so real. I observed people's reaction when they firs saw it: everybody thought it was a real bird skull! O how pleased I am! I started making this bead and was not satisfied with its outcome, and started all over again several times. Though, there are two mistakes. The first is a production mistake, or say a design one - the beak is a bit too long... And the second, I glued on the eye pin and f
Last week-end we were on a 4-day trip down to the Danube. It was beautiful and awful in the same time. The places we went to see were sometimes breathtaking, but the weather was miserable. It rained every single day, sometimes it poured. And guess what? Always when we were in the most interesting sections of our journey! [phu]Our first stop was Arad where we went to see the 1849 Monument. Here are just some snapshots: And now this one!!! O MY GOD, THIS LITTLE GUY IS SOOOOO SWEET! I'll tell you
Hi there! As I promised I'm back with new pics. These are my newest beads, a series I've made with new colors. I like how they turned out! For the time being, here are only the beads, they are waiting to be turned into something... they don't know into what, and neither do I quite exactly. See ya!

This is what I posted on my Facebook not so long ago and I think it should go here, too."The pervert is back" as Larry Flynt once said! [i love that movie, by the way.] Here is my new bead. And bad news - there will be no hearts and flowers anymore. They simply are not my stile. So this is just to let you know that the pervert is back: I'll make this into a necklace soon. But until then let me show you another bead that I like a lot. I only have to string it on a leather cord! This picture depic
I was walking around in my garden this morning when I spotted this snake! God, I rushed inside to grab my camera and then back to take some picture of the creature! O, how I was fast! But IT was even faster. I looked all over but couldn't find it anymore. It was gone!!! [crying...] So now we have to settle for what we have: that is, last year's pictures. My brave cat was fighting the snake in the front yard!!! [love her so much!] ... By the way, yesterday she got mad on the dog for whatever rea
Here is a quick one. This is one of my latest beads: the coffee bead, and the necklace I've made with it. I guess many of you will like this one much more than the pervert bead... But I'm not giving you too munch of a choice here anymore See ya!

Well... I don't have much of an imagination, but what I saw this morning was completely crazy! First let me show you some spring flowers. O how I love my little garden!!! When everything comes to life after the gray winter, trees bloom, flowers open, bees buzz around. We had a small rain last night and my tulips were covered in tiny drops of water And now the freaking snail! God, somebody had lots of time and a very relaxed mind to think of painting a snail in blue!!!It was in our garde
I made a QR Code a couple of days ago!!! WOOOW, I feel so good when I make something new. And especially when I can keep up with new technologies! There are lots of QR code generator sites. I read a little bit about this on the net, and I decided I don't want only text, or only URL. So, I opened an account on SKANZ, where one can make a kind of "site" and choose what information the QR Code should contain, which is URL, text, contact, photo, all in one. And guess what?!?!? You don't even need
Well... I've decided to post some of my photos that I processed in Photoshop. You can also find them on My Facebook . So here we go: That would be all for now. Hope you enjoyed this post. See ya!

Instead of beads, I'm back with something sweet I made for Women's Day. I made the dough for my chocolate cake and baked a cake and some cupcakes from it, too. Then I made an orange cream and here is the finished orange chocolate cake, decorated of course with orange slices: And here is a section just for you! I My Sweet God, it was heavenly!!! I love cookies and cakes and sweets! And I love chocolate! The cream was so... creamy, with orange juice and zest and pieces of orange and heavy cream in
