Triumph Teases Daytona Moto2 765 Limited Edition
Triumph has confirmed that it will release a limited edition Moto2 inspired street bike. The world will see two versions of the machine released. The first version will be for the US/Canada market. A second version will be for the European/Asian market. Triumph will only produce 765 examples of the new bike for each market.
Both versions will feature a Moto2 derived 765cc triple-cylinder engine. Triumph says that the Daytona Moto2 765 has the highest power and torque ever from a production 765 cc motorcycle.
The new bike’s chassis is based upon the British Championship winning Daytona 675R. According to Triumph, the new machine gets the highest specification of equipment ever seen on a Daytona.
Limited edition racing-inspired livery will adorn each machine. Unfortunately, Triumph has said little else about the upcoming bike.
Triumph will unveil the new Moto2 inspired Daytona Moto2 765 Limited Edition on Friday, August 23rd at the British Grand Prix. At that time, Triumph says it will reveal the bike’s pricing, full specifications, and availability.
Two unnamed World Champion riders will ride the new machines on a lap of the Silverstone circuit at the rollout.
