Touratech DirtDaze Opens In Vermont
The Touratech DirtDaze Rally has arrived in Vermont. The event is being hosted at the Suicide 6 Resort in Pomfret, Vermont. On just the first day, motorcyclists from all over have arrived, set up campsites, and started to enjoy Vermont’s paved and dirt roads.
Demo bikes lined up and ready.
The event features group rides catering to both novice and expert riders. Twisty flowing pavement/dirt oriented rides or expert knobby only rides have started.
This year’s event has been so popular that it quickly sold out for the full weekend festivities. Day passes are still available but only in limited quantities.
Lots of demo bikes
Triumph brought its new Scrambler 1200.
A host of manufacturers have shown up with tractor-trailer loads of demo bikes. Honda and Triumph brought their tractor-trailers while KTM and Beta each carried a large complement of bikes.

Riding in Iceland
Both Kim / @Butterqwup and I (Mike / Ride2ADV) will be there on Saturday, August 17th, giving a presentation on riding in Iceland. It will cover both the beauty and scenery to be found in Iceland as well as tips on the best places to ride and what to expect. The presentation will start at 6:15 PM.
Yeah, so I married way up!
We’ll also have a bunch of ADVRider swag to give away so come on by the Touratech DirtDaze Rally S6 tent and enjoy Iceland.
