KTM may be readying yet another adventure motorcycle model.  According to India outlet Zigwheels, a new smaller KTM 250 Adventure has been spied.

KTM is rumored to be unveiling a 390 Adventure at EICMA this November.  But now, according to 4 different spy shots, provided by Powerdrift, a 250 Adventure may be in the works.  Zigwheels uses these spy shots to draw multiple conclusions.

They say the heavily camouflaged test mule provides hints of the new model’s DNA.  Zigwheels speculates that the bike seen in the spy shots is not the new 390 Adventure test mule, but a new smaller 250 Adventure.

Things they point out include:

• A halogen bulbed headlight that is different from the LED headlight that has been seen in 390 Adventure spy shots.
• Non-adjustable upside-down fork legs as opposed to the 390 Adventure’s adjustable unit.
• A 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel
• Rear-mounted luggage rack
• A  seating position more upright than KTM’s 250 Duke.
• A revised exhaust canister which they claim could point to the bike being Euro 5/BS6 compliant.
• They also point out that the spy shots show a TFT display which is a feature missing from the 250 Duke.  From that information, they speculate that the production bike will have Bluetooth connectivity as either an accessory module or a factory fitted feature.

The outlet claims that its spy shots represent the first-ever sighting of a KTM 250 Adventure prototype.  Further, they say that the 250 Adventure could be unveiled sometime in 2020, likely at the 2020 EICMA motorcycle show.
