As EICMA gets closer, the manufacturers are starting to get itchy.  Teaser videos are popping up trying to generate buzz for new bike reveals.  Take for example the new Triumph Thruxton RS.

Triumph has jumped on the bandwagon with a very, very short 10-second video of the new Thruxton RS.  Frankly, not much is visible other than the bike’s side plate with Thruxton RS on its side.

You get a glimpse of the tank, fuel delivery system, seat, and the engine.  But that’s about it.  Oh yeah, you get to see the key unlocking mechanism for the seat.  Oh wow, not.  At the end of the video, you see “New Thruxton RS – The Legend Evolves”.  There’s no indication when the reveal will take place, but likely during EICMA sometime.

I like teaser videos and understand they should be minimalistic.  But did this video generate much excitement?  What do you think?  Could Triumph have done better?  Tell us in the comments below.
