When you think of the famous high-end gift company Tiffany and Co., what do you think of? High-end jewelry? Expensive accessories for your home? High-end watches? Well, Tiffany does indeed sell all those items, but do they sell motorcycles?
The answer to that question is yes. At least this year they do, just in time for Christmas. So for that person that has everything, Tiffany & Co. has teamed up with Indian Motorcycles and Barnstorm Cycles to create a one-off custom Indian Scout. The one-off machine is part of its Holiday Collection of gifts that Tiffany & Co. describes as very, very, extraordinary. Whether the bike is very, very extraordinary is in the eyes of the beholder.
But according to Tiffany, the one-off Scout is based upon Indian Motorcycle’s Scout model. The machine is equipped with a 69 inch V-twin engine making a claimed 100 HP and 72 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission. With a claimed wet weight of 550 pounds, the machine is no lightweight but is lighter than others in its class.
The bike is painted in the well known Tiffany blue. Other upgrades include custom 16″ laced wheels, chrome-plated rims and spokes dressed in vintage tread tires, a custom high-polished stainless steel exhaust, one-of-a-kind Tiffany engine covers and a custom sterling silver plaque on the front fender.
The price for this one-off machine is $35,000 and by the time you read this, the bike may have been sold. But if you want to know more, contact the Gift Concierge at VeryVeryTiffany@Tiffany.com.
