Parent company KTM has recalled certain Husqvarna 701 Svartpilen and 701 Vitpilen models for a possible fuel leak. KTM says that fuel may leak from the fuel level sensor and fuel pump mounting area and potentially cause a fire.
The remedy for this recall is still under development so the recall does not say when repairs will begin. But KTM will notify owners when the remedy becomes available. 1,500 Husqvarna motorcycles may be affected by this recall.

KTM hopes that to have a remedy sometime in May 2020. Owners will then be able to bring their machines to a dealer who will carry out the repair at no cost to the owner.
In the interim, owners may contact Husqvarna Motorcycles North America customer service at 1-888-985-6090. Husky’s number for this recall is HTB2011.
