Triumph Recalls Certain 2013 – 2017 Trophy Motorcycles

45 vizualizări

Triumph Motorcycles is recalling certain 2013 through 2017 Trophy SE A1 and SE A1 Launch motorcycles.  The issue stems from a potentially misrouted front brake hose.  If improperly routed, the front brake hose may damage the ignition switch wiring.

Triumph says that this condition could cause the headlights or taillights to become inoperable, or result in an engine stall.  Each of these conditions could increase the likelihood of a crash.  Triumph says 1,585 Trophy motorcycles may have this condition.

The British motorcycle company will notify owners of affected machines.  Dealers will inspect and reroute the brake hose as necessary, free of charge.

This recall will begin on April 2, 2020.  In the interim, owners may contact Triumph customer service at 1-678-854-2010 and cite Triumph’s recall number SRAN574.
