MV Agusta Announces Superveloce 75 Anniversario
In celebration of its 75th Anniversary, MV Agusta (MV) has unveiled the exclusive Superveloce 75 Anniversario Limited Edition. As you might surmise, the factory is limiting production to, you guessed it, 75 bikes.
MV says that the Superveloce 75 Anniversario shares the same F3 800 derived inline three cylinder engine as the Superveloce 800. That powerplant makes a claimed 147hp at 13,000 rpm giving the machine a claimed top speed of over 240kph (150mph).
Extra features
The Superveloce 75 Anniversario “…comes with many extra features and exclusive details that make it even more precious and a true collector’s item.” Unfortunately, the press release did not identify precisely what the exclusive details are.
Ultimately, it appears that the new bike is a Superveloce 800 with special paint and graphics, as well as black and gold Inmotion spoke rims and red “Alcantara” rider and passenger seats. Whether there are more differences and upgrades is unclear.
But people are interested in the Superveloce 75 Anniversario. In a press release posted by MV a day later, the company said that it had sold all of the 75 Superveloce 75 Anniversario bikes.

Sold out in seconds
MV says that reservations for the machine opened on the brand’s new website at midnight. Their plan was to then close reservations 75 hours later. However, it didn’t take that long to sell all 75 bikes. The Italian manufacturer says the complete allotment sold out in seconds.
According to their press release:
To celebrate its 75th anniversary, MV Agusta announced the launch of a special, limited-series anniversary model, the Superveloce 75 Anniversario. Reservations officially opened online through the brand’s newly designed website on Sunday November 15 at 00.00 AM, and were originally planned to close exactly 75 hours later. Within seconds, the Superveloce 75 Anniversario had gone sold-out! Fans and collectors literally stormed the website to pre-book the entire production almost instantly. An unprecedented success for a superb bike celebrating MV Agusta’s legacy of leading-edge technology, passionate craftsmanship and timeless elegance, which will be produced in a limited series of only 75 units.
CEO comments
The company’s CEO, Timur Sardarov had this to say about the Superveloce 75 Anniversario sell out:
”I was convinced Superveloce 75 Anniversario would be a success, but I didn’t expect it to go sold-out in just a few seconds. To all those who did not manage to book one, I can only say that their enthusiasm and loyalty are a true inspiration for us all as we continue handcrafting, with immense pride and passion, our unique pieces of motorcycle art.”
“Selling out” a particular limited edition model in seconds is an accomplishment. But we’d be remiss not to mention one thing. Those who ordered the machine only had to place a €100 deposit towards the bike’s starting price of €25,000.
Still, the fact that the bike sold out so quickly shows that it created a significant amount of interest. And, you have to admit, the bike is beautiful.
Congrats to MV for selling out the Superveloce 75 Anniversario and for designing a beautiful bike.
