Serious riding and racing often requires upgrading your bike’s components, and nothing can shave seconds off your lap times like suspension that improves feel and control. If you have certain 2021 KTM, Husqvarna or GasGas off-road performance machines in your trailer, WP Suspension has some new bits to consider.

First up is the WP XACT PRO 7543 Fork and XACT PRO 8946 Shock. The shock and fork replace the stock suspension and WP says these new legs bring “PRO Motorsport technology to all 85cc KTM, Husqvarna and GASGAS riders that feel the urge to score big time.” To be sure,  some cool upgrades for younger and lighter riders to be sure. To clarify, these are for 2021 model year machines.

WP says the setup will improve performance over those challenging washboard sections due to closed cartridge internals that prevent loss of damping and improve feedback. WP says the fork is CNC machined for lighter weight, better tolerances and requires less servicing.

Out back, the 8946 shock uses the same SUPERTRAX Technology “as used in Factory supported race series,” including adjustable rebound, variable oil bypass valves and a lighter-weight design that also requires less maintenance.

Get the forks for €2,049 and the shock for €1,392. They’re available now on the WP website.

If you’re on bigger KTM, Husky or GasGas howlers and feel the stock front end is a bit flaccid, WP is now offering the XACT PRO 6500 Cartridge system that replaces stock fork internals on a wide range of big bikes. WP says “the pressurized damping unit prevents loss of damping during rapid, repetitive compression and ensures a consistently solid performance.” The cartridges feature full adjustability including rebound and damping controls.

The PRO 6500 retails for €840 and is available now for all 2021 KTM SX, SX-F, XC, and XC-F Fullsize models or it can be retrofitted into bikes from 2016 to 2020 using the A460C107T002220 adapter kit. Likewise, the 6500 fits 2021 Husqvarna TC, FC Fullsize, TX 300, FX 350, and FX 450 machines or 2016-2020 bikes using the A360C107T002220 kit. It also fits GasGas MC and EX Fullsize 2021 models but sorry, no kits for older GasGas bikes.
