The Women’s Moto Show is back for 2023, its eighth year! It’s running in Los Angeles in just over two weeks, on June 17. Here’s what to expect this year:

This year’s show runs at AutoConduct in LA’s Arts District (1219 S Santa Fe Avenue). This is a one-acre compound with multiple buildings, which is good news—there’s a lot going on. There’s a curated custom bike show inside, and an art gallery with work from Paige Macy (Stripe Cult Painting), Mallika Prakash (Mallika Moto), Theresa Contreras, Courtney Ware (Enjoy Ware), and others. Experienced riders are giving presentations on their travels. Real Deal Revolution is giving workshops on DIY skills like welding, pinstriping and leatherwork (pay by donation). There will also be live music, starting at 7 PM, including shows from multi-genre “Plastic Culture” and punk-rock-roots “Tarah Who?”. The pinata whack and the Hot Wheels track return this year as well, and the curated bike show will present awards for People’s Choice, Judge’s Pick, and Iron Butt. There’s also a run-what-ya-brung ride-in show in the large on-site parking lot, with People’s Choice award presented for top machine!

Want to flash some cash? The Women’s Moto Show has vendors this year, for the first time ever. There’s also food and drinks on-site, and you can buy brand-new Women’s Moto Show merch as well. If you’re flat broke, maybe you can still take something home from the raffle, with items donated by RevZilla, REV’IT!, ScorpionExo, Dainese, S&S, Simpson, Icon Motosports, UglyBros USA, Black Arrow, Pit Viper, Torco, In View, and other moto industry figures.

This show’s history goes back to 2011, when it started as a party for fans of the MotoLady website. Things got really serious around Year Five of those get-togethers, where it officially became The Women’s Moto Show. And don’t worry about your chromosomes, men, Alicia Elfving (the brains behind the show) says guys are welcome too. The press release says “The idea behind WMS is to open the minds of men and women riders alike to all the possibilities. To inspire. To capture that excitement and amplify it to the max.

So—if you’re interested, pre-order tickets here for $25, or buy them at the door for $35 (kids under 10 years old get in for free). It’s an all-day show, 10 AM-10 PM. Of course you’ll have to show up at specific times to take in certain music performances or DIY workshops. For more deets, check out WomensMotoShow.com.
