The new tire is being marketed as a versatile 50-50 on/off road tire, offering Adventure performance at a value-oriented price. The D605 features a full-depth tread pattern designed for rigorous off-road use. Dunlop claims the new tire offers great traction on everything from hard-packed fire roads to soft single-track trails. These all-around tires also provide riders with a more affordable alternative to the D606 and seem to take aim at the budget-oriented Kenda K270 and Shinko 244. ADVERTISEMENT The new DOT-legal knobby joins the more aggressive D606 in Dunlop’s line of dual-sport tires aimed at small and mid-displacement bikes.
