According to recently-unearthed EPA documents, Ducati is planning to release Multistrada 1260 Enduro Grand Tour model in the near future.

As far as we can tell, there’s absolutely no tie-in with Amazon Prime’s automotive show titled Grand Tour (although the idea is appealing—watching Richard Hammond try to throw his short little legs over the bike would be prime footage, for sure). Instead, this is almost certainly a mash-up of two existing Multistrada 1260 variants. There’s already a 1260 Enduro (built for off-road adventure) and a Multistrada 1260 S Grand Tour (built for sport touring—see the title photo). Presumably, the two worlds will meet with the new Multi model. Expect long-travel suspension and spoked wheels, but also luxuries like heated grips, extended/adjustable windshield, fancy seat, hard luggage, and so on.

Don’t expect the engine to be changed, though; the Multistrada 1260 Enduro Grand Tour was listed with other 1260 Enduro models on the EPA list, so we’d expect the liquid-cooled L-twin to be unchanged, making 157 horsepower and 95 pound-feet of torque.

The EPA document also listed a new Ducati Scrambler 1100 Pro Dark. Again, the engine was unchanged from the existing Scrambler 1100 Pro model, so it’s probably the current air-cooled L-twin making one more spin around the block, with the same 86 horsepower and 88 pound-feet of torque. The only difference is likely a blacked-out paint job, instead of the high fit-and-finish Ducati likes to slather all over their pricier models. This allows riders to enjoy Ducati performance, but save a bit of cash. It’s also a way for builders to save some money, if they’re already planning to put a new paint job on the bike.

Finally, the document also lists a Lamborghini edition Diavel. This almost certainly makes the same power as Ducati’s current 1260 Diavel, as it’s listed in the same EPA bracket. It probably just has some flashy Lamborghini badging, as both Ducati and Lamborghini are ultimately owned by Volkswagen, and the marketeers see an opportunity here.
