Sigh. The Great COVID-19 lockdown just won’t end, and for many international travelers, that means a no-go on this winter’s trip plans.

Good thing we’ve got Ed March and the C90 Adventures YouTube channel then! Ed’s been busy during the past few months of lockdown, continuously improving his filmmaking, and his latest video release proves that. On Christmas Day, Ed released Episode 15 of his Alaska to Argentina series, showing his adventures through Peru and Ecuador via his trusty Honda C90.

If you’ve followed Ed’s video releases from the start of his Alaska-Argentina trip, or from even before that, you know just how much better they’ve gotten. At the beginning, all he did was film the random amusements that he encountered along the way in his travels. Now, he’s doing a great job of storytelling–and that storytelling is based around the random amusements that he encounters along the way. It’s not as good as being there, but it’s a fair sight better than watching the news on the telly and being depressed about travel restrictions!

This time around, Ed shares such diverse sights as the “Zona del Mucho Flatto,” sketchy railway safety standards, makeshift road repairs thanks to a dodgy battery, visits to Machu Picchu and the Nazca Lines, and other highlights of South America. Naturally, there’s plenty of Ed’s irreverent humour as well, so don’t watch if you’re easily offended by swearing, humping dogs, cartoon willy drawings, talking guinea pig dinners and that sort of thing.

Before this series started, Ed was well-known amongst the budget ADV travel set, but through his trip through the Americas, he’s now become an adventure riding icon. If you think that’s a stretch, just watch the video, where Ed poses next to a Catholic icon hanging on his hotel wall, and compares his hair length.

See more of Ed’s adventures at the C90 Adventures YouTube channel, and there’s other info (and an online store) at the C90 Adventures website.
