If you’re looking for a front suspension UPGRADE this season, WP might have what you’re looking for—at least, if you’re riding a KTM-built bike. The new WP XPLOR Pro 7448 Air Fork is a factory drop-in replacement for a wide range of KTM, Husqvarna, and GasGas machines. It’s not a cheap upgrade, though: WP prices the new fork at 2,581.15 euros (approximately $3,075 USD, or $3,900 CAD).

What’s the new suspension all about? It combines WP’s AER and cone valve tech with close cartridge design, with easily-accessible adjusters, for quick adjustment at the track or on the trail. Here’s the skinny, straight from the press release:

To be prepared for even the toughest circumstances, flexibility is the ace up your sleeve. With the new WP XPLOR PRO 7448 Air Fork, short-term changes in the track and other conditions are no problem. The Air Fork enables any adjustment of the air pressure directly at the AER fork leg for even big changes in driving dynamics on the trail or deep in the middle of nowhere. The fine tuning is performed by using easy and quickly accessible adjusters for compression and rebound. Developed and proven in professional enduro sports, the XPLOR PRO 7448 Air Fork shines with WP CONE VALVE Technology and WP CLOSED CARTRIDGE design, which not only leads to unique response at high speeds, but also guarantees a constant damping performance with high puncture resistance after strong impacts.

As KTM owns WP, this fork is designed to fit the company’s enduro range … and because KTM also owns Husqvarna and GasGas, the fork fits enduro bikes from those companies as well. Officially, WP says it fits KTM EXC150, EXC250, and EXC300 models, as well as EXC-F250, EXC-F350, EXC-F450, and EXC-F500 models, all from 2017-onwards. It also fits the Husqvarna TE125, TE250, TE300 models, and FE250, FE350, FE450, and FE501 from 2017-up. You can also install the fork on GasGas EC250, EC300, EC-F250, and EC-F350 models from 2021 and up.

WP says the new forks are available now—it doesn’t say they’re in North America yet, so maybe talk to your local KTM/Husqvarna/GasGas dealer if you want an arrival estimate.
