Giant Loop adds distributor for Australia/New Zealand

Adventure motorcycle luggage manufacturer Giant Loop has a new distribution deal for Australia and New Zealand.

The new distribution deal comes through Whites Powersports, a well-known powersports business for Aussies and Kiwis. Whites has been around since 1952, and as per Giant Loop’s press release, “Whites Powersports is Australia and New Zealand’s leading wholesale distributor of motorcycle and ATV products, servicing every significant powersports retailer, accessory store and repair shop in both countries.”

Whites Powersports big boss Keith Larkin said “Having personally used and abused Giant Loop products in America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand over tens of thousands of trail miles, I am a true believer in the brand … Whites Powersports are proud and enthusiastic about representing Giant Loop Down Under, and about helping fellow adventure riders with the best luggage system we have seen.” And, he’s not just talking; Larkin has put down many tough miles with Giant Loop products, including a trip across the Trans Canada Adventure Trail via Yamaha WR250R, using Giant Loop bags to carry his equipment.

Previously, Giant Loop luggage was available in Australia through Adventure Moto AU, which sold Giant Loop through its stores in Brisbane and Dural, as well as online. Now, White Powersports will keep Adventure Moto as a flagship Giant Loop dealer in Australia, and will use Motomox (another longtime Giant Loop retailer) in that role in New Zealand.

It’s another big step forward for Giant Loop, as the company inks distribution deals that make its products more readily available outside the US (last year, Giant Loop signed a deal with Parts Canada that made it easier to buy its gear up in Canuckistan).
