The Austrian manufacturer says that the KTM 450 Rally Factory Replica is synonymous with rally competition.  And the 2022 bike incorporates feedback from Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Toby Price, Matthias Walkner, and Sam Sunderland.

In its 2022 trim, KTM says that the 2022 450 Rally Factory Replica:

“…is engineered to satisfy the toughest demands of rally racing, being equally efficient at powering through sand dunes as high speed as it is at navigating hard-packed technical sections. The bike is built around a powerful, race-proven, and ultra-reliable 450cc SOHC fuel-injection motor, which is married to a competition chassis with perfect flex characteristics.”

You’ll also find a set of championship-winning WP XACT PRO closed cartridge forks with high-tech Cone Valve technology.  It also has a PANKL Racing Systems gearbox, producing a more linear gear spread.  The bike also maintains the same gear ratios found on the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing machines.

As an exclusive and “race-ready” bike, pricing is significant.  If you want to purchase one, it will set you back €25,900 (~$30,995).  That’s a lot of money for a 450cc machine.  But it does buy you a bike that is ready to take on the Dakar.
