Ducati To Physically Unveil The DesertX At Expo 2020 Dubai

Ducati will premiere its new DesertX motorcycle in two different locations.  The new machine will enter center stage during Episode 6 of Ducati’s World Premiere 2022 on December 9, 2021, at 10 AM Eastern.  At the same time, Ducati will show a production bike to the public, pulling the wraps off the machine at Expo 2020 Dubai at the Dubai Opera located near the Buri Kalifa Tower.

Interestingly, Ducati will be present at Expo 2020 Dubai along with “all the brands of the Emilia-Romagna Motor Valley to represent the excellence of “Made in Italy” in the car and motorcycle sectors.”  Ducati says that the world premiere of the DesertX is part of a plan to promote the Motor Valley in an international context and tell the story of the Italian motorcycle and automobile tradition.

In addition, there will be a round table session where Motor Valley representatives will meet with guests and press to promote the Motor Valley.  The President of the Emilia-Romagna Region, Stefano Bonaccini, and Francesco Milicia, Ducati VP Global Sales and After Sales, will attend.  And all of the Motor Valley’s motorcycles and cars will remain on display throughout the day.

Then on December 10, there will be a parade featuring the motorcycles and cars from Dubai to Abu Dhabi.  Once there, they will be shown off for the fans and media attending the final round of the Formula 1 World Championship.
