Listen Here! Sena 50S Now Available With Updated Harman Kardon Speakers

Motorcycle communicator manufacturer Sena has just announced an updated version of the 50S commset, with new Harman Kardon speakerset and other changes.

The 50-series Senas have been out for a while, with the line announced in early 2020. It was Sena’s first mesh-capable comm series, allowing a much larger number of riders to share the same radio network, as opposed to the old Bluetooth comms that restricted the number of users.

However, while the mesh system itself was an upgrade, Sena’s hardware left room for improvement. At first, the company offered its own upgrade speakers, with in-house branding, offering HD performance. See rtwpaul’s review here.

Now, we’ve got a new set of upgrade speakers available, made by Harman Kardon, a well-known name in the audio industry. See Sena’s video explaining things below:

An ingenious system of prompts and responses between the Mesh units has resulted in 80% more data being transferred across challenging and harsh conditions. Furthermore, Mesh units quickly determine the ideal pathway to efficiently transmit messages from rider to rider.

Not only are you getting new speakers, you’re also getting a new microphone system, and the algorithms behind the whole system are also improved. It should be a better system all around, as a result!
