KTM has taken the wraps off its enduro range for 2023.  The Austrian manufacturer has dominated many enduro competitions in the past decades, and they say that the new bikes will continue that record; however, customers must make do with Bold New Graphics for 2023, with technical updates put off this season. It’s no surprise—GasGas saw the same thing this year.

Enduro range styling

Team Orange claims that it has “…the most extensive READY TO RACE competition enduro lineup on the market,” and they also say that its EXC and EXC-F models feature “…an updated design, orange coated Chromoly steel frame, race-proven WP XPLOR suspension at each end, and real READY TO RACE credentials…” But when all is said and done, it looks like that for 2023, KTM’s enduro range remains relatively unchanged.

New for 2023 is an “all-new graphic design featuring white, purple, and orange color schemes. The new schemes pay homage to the brand’s enduro machines of the 1990s. KTM also boasts that the bike’s chromoly steel frame has race-inspired orange paint. It echoes the styling on the company’s full factory race machines.

Engines

KTM’s two-stroke model range returns with KTM’s patented Transfer Port Injection (TPI) technology. The manufacturer says it emits fewer emissions and lowers fuel consumption while still providing smooth and strong power delivery throughout the rev range. If you think that sounds like last year’s bike, you’d be right. The four-stroke model range starts with the KTM 250 EXC-F and 350 EXC-F and continues through the 450 EXC-F and 500 EXC-F. KTM says that all models in the four-stroke range “benefit from class-winning engines, engineered to deliver massive torque down low with class-leading power delivery at higher RPMs.”

EXC Six Days range

The returning Six Days range of bikes offers a special tribute to the upcoming 2022 FIM International Six Days Enduro in France. According to KTM, the Six Days machines combine “the very latest in innovation with an extensive list of race-derived parts as standard.”

Each bike in the range offers fully adjustable WP XPLOR suspension. They also feature KTM’s Progressive Damping System (PDS) at the rear of the machine. According to KTM, the PDS configuration offers lower maintenance with fewer moving parts while still providing more ground clearance.

The 2023 range of KTM EXC and EXC-F models will arrive on dealer floors from May 2022. For more details on the KTM enduro lineup, you can check out KTM’s enduro webpage.
