An industry leader in motorcycle communications, Sena has just introduced their new Impulse and Stryker helmets, featuring SOUND BY Harman Kardon. These helmets promise to “deliver an unprecedented motorcycling auditory experience.”

Both helmets feature Sena’s Mesh Intercom, Bluetooth technology, smartphone connectivity, an integrated tail light for visibility, and a retractable sun visor. They also share composite fiberglass construction,  intermediate oval fitment, and DOT or ECE certification, depending on the region.

However, as part of Sena’s Quantum Series, their standout feature is a microphone and speakers that were created in conjunction with the audio experts at Harman Kardon, makers of high-end home and car audio equipment. The result, according to Sena, is world-class sound with a new level of precision and clarity.

The Stryker is a full-face helmet with four vents: a chin vent, top vent, and two exhaust vents.

The Impulse is a modular helmet with ventilation provided by seven vents: a chin vent, a top vent, two side vents, and three exhaust vents.

Sena’s Mesh Intercom platform offers reliable communications, unprecedented intercom audio quality, and two Mesh settings: Multi-Channel Open Mesh Intercom and Group Mesh Intercom. Open Mesh mode allows users to switch between nine channels, much like a CB radio. Group Mesh works with a single, private group with up to 24 members, with only invited users able to join. Both of these helmets also support four-way Bluetooth intercom mode as well.

The Stryker and Impulse also feature a magnetic pogo connection for the charging cable, with the port located in the rear of the helmet, with a seal system to keep the connection protected from the elements. They offer 10 hours of talk time with Mesh Intercom, or up to 18 hours using Bluetooth intercom, and a new built-in wi-fi circuit provides automatic firmware updates while charging.

These helmets are currently available at your local Sena dealer, or visit https://www.sena.com/ for more information.
