advrider
Many of us already have our summer trips and vacations planned out, but if you’ve still got some space in your calendar, here’s a slot you might consider: The Get On! ADV Fest rally is running July 14-17 this year, in South Dakota’s Black Hills. Wait, you say—didn’t we already have one of these events? Yeah, there was a Get On! rally in the Mojave in April; the Black Hills event is the second such rally this year. So what to expect? You’ll see the usual mix of bike demo rides ( BMW, Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, Harley-Davidson & Triumph), adventure riding classes, live music, camping, a welcome party, meal plans, lots of vendors, and even a free two-hour riding class for RPM members who attend. That’s right—there are perks to being part of moto-retail mega-giant Comoto’s RPM club, because Comoto owns and manages this rally. In turn, that means there’ll be some stuff that you might not get at other events. REVER, the Comoto-owned moto navigation app, provides a selection of riding routes suitable for all skill levels, and attendees get a one-year free REVER Pro membership. Well-known Revzilla insiders will be hanging out for the weekend (Spurgeon Dunbar, jrod_racing, Ari Henning, Zack Courts, bwise_moto, Lizismoto, Alex Chacon, Liz Kiniery, ChaseOnTwoWheels and Amanda Zito will be at the Buffalo Chip, at some point); there will be nightly giveaways, a Revzilla swag bag, and an on-site Revzilla Adventure Shop fully-stocked for the farkles you must have. And, of course, this is your best chance to enjoy a moto event in the Black Hills without being stuck behind miles of shiny chrome cruisers. For a weekend schedule, see here. Attendance cost is $260 for the weekend (including camping and three breakfasts); more details at Revzilla’s website. Vezi sursa
