KTM Revives World Adventure Week (It Starts Today!)

KTM is reviving World Adventure Week (WAW) for 2022.  If you are not familiar with the event, WAW is a KTM sponsored riding challenge.  All makes and models of bikes are welcome.  Ultimately, the challenge’s main goal is to complete 1,000 km (~621 miles) during the seven days of the event.

However, there are also seven daily challenges that riders may decide to take on.  If a rider takes on one or more of the daily challenges, they can enter a drawing for prizes including:

Challenge: SHARE ANY RIDE ON SOCIAL
Day’s Prize: HORNET ADV HELMET

Day 2 | July 5
Challenge: RIDE THROUGH 890 M OF ALTITUDE
Day’s Prize: TERRA ADV JACKET

Day 3 | July 6
Challenge: CHECK IN AT A KTM DEALER
Day’s Prize: KTM EXPLORER HELMET

Day 4 | July 7
Challenge: COMPLETE 1290 M OF ELEVATION
Day’s Prize: TOURRAIN WP V2 JACKET

Day 5 | July 8
Challenge: 5 DAYS OF SADDLE TIME
Day’s Prize: COROZAL DRYSTAR BOOTS

Day 6 | July 9
Challenge: RIDE 390 KM IN ONE GO
Day’s Prize: SIDE BAG SET

Day 7 | July 10
Challenge: RIDE WITH YOUR BUDDIES
Day’s Prize: UNBOUND HYBRID ZIP HOODIE

Competing in WAW

To compete in WAW, riders will have to download the RISER app, accept the WAW in the Upcoming Challenges section and start recording their rides. At the end of the week, KTM will offer a “unique experience” to six riders who complete 1,000 km and at least three of the seven daily challenges.

The first five finalists chosen will win an all-expenses paid invitation to join a KTM riding activity. The activity is the opportunity to test the next generation of KTM adventure bikes. KTM will also offer a sixth invitation to the unique experience to the rider with the greatest number of kilometers ridden. Those that don’t win an invitation to ride KTM’s latest machinery, will still receive a personalized award from KTM.
