advrider
Not too long ago, we told you about Americade 2022. From what we saw, the 2022 version of the event was a big success. Now, Americade Director Christian Dutcher is already announcing the dates for Americade 2023. Next year’s event will mark a milestone in Americade’s history as it will be Americade’s 40th event. The 2023 edition will take place one week earlier than usual. he reason? To give a little breathing room between it and the Laconia Motorcycle Week/Loudon Classic. So you can expect next year’s event to begin the Tuesday before Memorial Day, on May 30, 2023. It will close on June 3, 2023. Christian Dutcher, Americade’s Director, had this to say about Americade 2023: “Laconia will be celebrating a big milestone too, their 100th, next year. And having two major events overlapping during special years doesn’t make any sense. So, we’re going to slide Americade earlier to give each event a little elbow room.” Now, with the new dates, you can attend both events. Laconia Motorcycle Week will be held from June 10th through June 18th, 2023. And if you want a test ride, Americade has always had the attention of the original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Last year was no exception, with eight OEMs offering rides of many different models from their product lineups. According to Americade’s press release, 2023 will likely feature even more. Even the OEMs agree that the date change is a good move. Kim Knupp, the National Events Manager for Yamaha, says: “This is exciting news. It’s a great move for Americade and will increase attendance. It opens up opportunities for those who want to go to both events but currently can’t.” For more information, you can visit Americade’s website.
