New Products From Sena For Shoei Helmets

A world leader in motorcycle communications systems, Sena has released an expanded line of products built specifically for Shoei helmets. The SRL-MESH and SRL-EXT are Shoei helmet model—specific, and feature Sena’s Mesh Intercom system, as well as Sound By Harman Kardon technology, to provide world-class audio.

Sena SRL-MESH

The SRL-MESH fits the Shoei Neotec 2, SHOEI GT-Air 2, and SHOEI J-Cruise 2 helmets, with a design that integrates with so cleanly, it looks like the helmet came with it from the factory. The various parts of the unit fit into the interior recesses of the helmet, hidden from view from the outside.

Sena SRL-MESH controller

On the left side exterior is a three-button controller, while the right side has a Mesh Intercom button, both shaped to match the trim on these specific Shoei helmets. Talk-time is rated at 8 hours on Bluetooth or Mesh, with a 2.5 hour charging time.

Sena SRL-EXT

The SRL-EXT fits Shoei’s RF-1400, NXR2, and Z-8 helmets. The external main module and battery pods are shaped to match the curves of the helmet, and mount with either a quick-clamp or adhesive mount. Talk-time is rated at 11 hours for Bluetooth or Mesh, with a 2.5 hour charging time.

Sena SRL-EXT controller

Both the SRL-MESH and SRL-EXT devices feature Sena’s Mesh Intercom, Bluetooth 5, four-way Bluetooth intercom, digital assistant access, and Advanced Noise Control. Both include Sound By Harman Kardon speakers and microphones, created by the audio experts at Harman Kardon for premium audio and robust voice communication performance. Both use lithium-polymer batteries, and come with a three-year warranty.
