Forego that fancy latte today and instead, send $5 to The Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship (SBTS) help build trails, connect mountain towns – and maybe win a rip-ready, custom KTM 350 EXC-F.

Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship has teamed with KTM, Motorcycle Performance Center (MPC) and the Nevada County Woods Riders for the “Twist the Throttle for Trails” campaign to support the “buy a foot” of riding trail campaign. Five bones buys a foot of trail work and an entry to win the very nicely turned out Katoom.

The 350 EXC-F is nice enough as a stocker, but wait, there”s so much more. Instead, it comes with many tasty extras, including a better skid plate, handguards, front and rear brake rotor guards, heat shield, handy grab handle, Dunlop knobs, a bike stand, NoToil air filter kit, some swank riding gear from Fasthouse and a luggage setup from Giant Loop. Motion Pro is kicking in a $500 credit for tools as well.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will help expand rider access and the trail system in the Sierra Nevada mountain range, which besides expanding the great riding in the area, also serves as a conduit and connection system of trails through many small mountain towns “The region is blessed to have avid moto riders with strong club membership, and even racers working for the Forest Service, including Paul Hart, trails manager for the Yuba River Ranger District, who’s also a pro moto racer,” according to the fundraiser website. “He races in the Score International World Desert Championship, Pro Moto Ironman Class. This includes the San Felipe 250, Baja 500, Baja 400 and the legendary Baja 1000. He’s a bonafide asskicker on the bike and on the trails. You can follow him racing the Baja 1000 on November 15-20.”

The goal is to raise $75,000, and as of October 18, just under $25,000 was in the bucket. You better believe every ADVrider.com inmate is going to enter. You can too right here. The lucky rider gets the good news after the Nov. 22 cutoff date.
