Triumph Brings The Shine For ’23 With ‘Chrome Collection’ Of Popular Models

Triumph is giving multiple models in their lineup a bit of brightwork for 2023 with a limited “Chrome Collection” series of bikes that have been buffed to a high shine. And while you might be put off by a bit too much mirrored metal on a motorcycle, suffice to say they did show typical British restraint.

The Chrome Collection will be a one-year-only run, according to Triumph, and the number of shiny bikes will be limited, but Triumph did not say to what number. Pricing was also not included in the press release, but the Triumph website has been updated with all the numbers, and it appears the shinier version of the ten Chrome Collection models are about an $800 premium on average.

All of the Chrome Collection bikes feature a hand-buffed tank (or tank bits) along with some additional brightwork, usually brushed aluminum. Overall, it gives the bikes some “drip” as the cool kids say these days.

Among the Chrome Collection bikes is the Scrambler 1200XE (below), Triumph’s most dirt-capable machine that isn’t a Triumph Tiger, and it comes in a $16,645, $800 more than its not-chrome sibling.

It features a chrome gas tank complimented by a pine green stripe (below) and a number of brushed aluminum accents on the bike. Outside of the T120 Bonnie, this author thinks it’s the best looking Chrome Edition model of the bunch. Maybe get a tank wrap for those times you point it into the muddier parts of your next ride?
