advrider
It’s been a few months since we’ve checked in with the On Her Bike channel. A quick visit reveals she’s working her way up the West Coast of the US, slowly, and having plenty of fun along the way. After leaving Las Vegas, Kinga’s California adventures started in Death Valley, as you can see above. From there, she was off to the Alabama Hills, which are actually on the eastern slope of the Sierra Nevada range, despite their name. Also, the site of the best free camping in the US, according to Kinga! [embedded content] Well at least it looks like you won’t have to worry about rain there. But California is about a lot more than just arid deserts (although there’s plenty of that to see, for sure). [embedded content] And then it’s time for some beach camping, and a ride into the Los Angeles to meet some local ADVers. Maybe some of y’all recognize these faces? [embedded content] From warm and sunny LA to the snowy top of Lake Tahoe, away we go! [embedded content] And a visit to the classic scenery of San Francisco, including the spot where everyone takes photos of the Golden Gate Bridge: [embedded content] It’s not all riding. Kinga chases down some US history at Alcatraz… [embedded content] And hits the road to see the redwoods. [embedded content] And then, it’s time to visit with some more familiar ADV scene faces, in Oregon. [embedded content] Kinga is certainly covering some miles, and at the rate she’s going, we expect she’ll be uploading British Columbia and then Alaska’s footage in a short time.
