Zero Lowers Pricing On All 2023 And 2022 Motos

Zero Motorcycles is announcing a “permanent” price reduction across its entire range of motorcycles. Any model year 2023 or 2022 motorcycle in North American dealer inventories will receive a minimum price reduction of $1,000 to as much as $4,500 off the bike’s manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP).

For the 2023 model year Zeros, at the low end of the pricing discount are Zero’s FX ZF7.2 and FXE ZF7.2 (review here), with a discount of $1,000. The company’s new adventure model, the DSR/X (First ride impression), is at the highest end of the discount spectrum. It receives a discount of $4,500 or about 18 percent of the bike’s MSRP.

Zero says the price reductions are “permanent” for all remaining 2022 and 2023 model year motorcycles. Hopefully, for the industry, the reductions indicate a declining cost to produce electric motorcycles. Mike Cunningham, Zero’s Vice President of Sales, indeed alluded to that saying:

“This MSRP reduction is another example of how Zero Motorcycles continues to lead the charge. (Nice double entendre’ Mike -ed) It enables Zero to leverage its scale andmanufacturing efficiency to make EV motorcycles accessible to a greater number of riders as demand increases and the industry continues to evolve.”
