Husqvarna has unleashed a refreshed Norden 901 for 2024 to join the up-spec’d Norden Expedition released earlier this year. The new tweaks are minor but include technical and rider safety enhancements fans of the Swedish brand’s adventurer will appreciate.

One notable revision for the new year is to the lean-angle sensitive TC — called Cornering Motorcycle Traction Control (CMTC) by the manufacturer. The system now offers 10 different levels of rear wheel slip control, which can be selected when the optional Explorer Mode is engaged. This feature boosts the versatility of the bike allowing a wider range of riders to find a traction sweet spot that suits their skill level. Experienced riders can enjoy drifting through turns in the lower settings, while newer riders will benefit from additional traction when negotiating technical corners and unpredictable terrain using the higher settings.

Rounding out the new features found on the 2024 Norden 901 are a new USB port, a revised exhaust to meet Euro 5+ regulations, and Hazard Warning lights, which can be quickly switched on in the event of an emergency. The whole package is wrapped in new gray and yellow graphics that accentuate its neo-retro look and complement its signature round headlight.

Underneath its skin, the 2024 Norden 901 retains the same 889 cc parallel-twin engine pumping out 103.2 ponies and 74 ft-lbs of torque. The Norden also boasts a light steel trellis frame, WP APEX suspension with 8.7″ of suspension travel in front and 8.5″ in the rear, 21″/18″ tubeless spoke wheels, Bosch Cornering ABS, Power Assist Slipper Clutch (PASC), and multiple ride modes.
