advrider
One of the coolest things about the EICMA show in Milan is not the new bikes—it’s the accessories and aftermarket stuff on display. We’re busy enough covering the new bikes (and the 2023 was especially busy for that!) that we rarely get into the new products that stuff into the halls of the show. William Roberson made it to the show in-person this year, and while he didn’t have time to do much coverage for us, he did take photos of this new Honda Transalp on display, getting the full Touratech treatment. Check it out below. We have lots of new luggage on this bike, including hard cases, an oversized tank bag, a soft tailbag and a handlebar bag. Also note the crash bars, carefully fitted to protect the front bodywork. There’s a new replacement shock with easily-adjustable preload. A big skid plate covers the front of the engine, new handguards built around wraparound aluminum protection will protect your knuckles, and there is also a set of foglamps attached to the crash bars, below the headlight. The Transalp has been confirmed for North America in 2024. Asking price is a $9,999 MSRP in the US, or a $13,299 MSRP in Canada. Presumably this Touratech kit will also be along next season, for those who want to farkle up their new Honda. We’ve seen no suggested pricing, but Touratech’s stuff is never at the cheap end of the spectrum, either in quality or pricing—Ed.
