advrider
Remember that movie series with Ben Stiller, about the museum coming alive at night? It turns out that KTM has its own version of that, with fewer dinosaurs (unless you count some of the cool old bikes on display). This YouTube video is based out of KTM’s Motohall, which is on-site at the company’s home base in Mattighofen, Austria. Although much of Pierer AG’s manufacturing is now running out of India and China, this is the spiritual home of KTM and they still make a lot of stuff here—and they have a lot of stuff on display at the Motohall’s 10,000 square feet. The three-level Motohall opened in 2019, and along with all the regular exhibits, one of the coolest things they’ve shown there is the Legends of Dakar tribute they had back in 2023. Now, they’ve got one of their racers behind the handlebars to show the facility to you: When the lights go out, the adventure begins! Brought to life alongside his championship-winning KTM 300 EXC, Mani is on a high-octane mission to outrun security as he tears through the sacred halls of KTM history. In this electrifying escapade, he races past decades of iconic KTM machinery, dodges through shadowy exhibits, and even sneaks in some exclusive KTM gear – all while the clock is ticking! Under the cover of night, Mani encounters legendary bikes and the spirits of racing heroes, turning the KTM Motohall into his own personal playground. With no time to waste, he treats himself to a secret film screening and a fresh wardrobe – because when you’re Mani Lettenbichler, even museum mannequins might need to up their game! Located in the heart of Mattighofen, the KTM Motohall is not just a museum; it’s an immersive journey through the storied past and future of KTM’s engineering marvels. But be warned – after watching this, you might just believe that anything can happen when the lights go out! Find out more about the Motohall here.
