advrider
We’ve already run a review of the CFMOTO 450 Ibex here at ADVrider, and it’s been on the market for long enough that we have a pretty decent forum thread about the bike, updated with users’ experiences (see it here). But if you’re still curious about the machine, we have good news: There’s a ton of stuff on YouTube about the bike, as moto-vloggers and other uploaders get their hands on the machine. These come from a wide variety of perspectives, so you should be able to find useful information there no matter whether you’re a travel rider, an enduro enthusiast or simply a newbie. Expanding on the brief write-up in ADVrider, here’s Ryan’s full take on the bike for Motorcycle.com: [embedded content] Here’s a 44-minute upload from Big Rock Moto, his first look at the machine, including lots of off-road riding for a dirt perspective: [embedded content] And from our second-favorite Australian, Barry Morris of Cross Training Adventure: [embedded content] Barry wasn’t a huge fan of the bike for his own purposes, but saw how others could be happy with the machine, especially at its low MSRP: My personal opinion? I didn’t like the CFMoto 450MT. The engine felt soft and doughy. It felt way too heavy. The exhaust note was annoying. I owned a Honda CB500X for three months and hated it for all the same reasons. But that’s just my very biased opinion. I must admit the CFMoto will be brilliant for a lot of riders. The price is amazing. Ben over at Dork In The Road just got his hands on one of these 450s for a build project, but he hasn’t had time to do much with it yet. More coming from his channel soon: [embedded content] And here’s his thoughts from when he had one previously as a loaner: [embedded content] And for a REAL long-term travel review, here’s Luke Hilby’s perspective: [embedded content] Vezi sursa
